Graduated in Computer-Engineering, I've always been interested in all of what concerns the universe of digital arts, ranging from audio-visuals to interactive installations. My main interest is music, through a constant research of sounds, based on the most widespread and available software solutions as well as self-built hardware instrumentations, like some synthesizers based upon DIY projects (
uCApps) or even sophisticated controllers like 3DID,
handuino or
Stimulus-16.
In the last years I've been involved in several projects concerning andvanced audio steganography techniques (
ApheX), audio synthesis through high level language interpretation (
SampleX) and, most of all, wireless sensor networks design and integration. Since november 2007 I'm working as dsp firmware engineer in the field of artificial vision for industrial applications.
During the last years I purposed my live as opening performance for artists such as Richie Hawtin (Link, May 2005) and John Tejada (Link, Dec 2005), and have been playing in clubs like Link (Bologna - IT), Öpera 4 (Granada, ES), Rialto (Rome, IT), Tunnel (Milano,IT), Kinki (Bologna - IT), Cassero (Bologna - IT), Covo (Bologna - IT), Feedback (Foligno - IT) and during events such as Elettrowave (2008), Dancity Festival(2008), Street Rave Parade (2003/2004), MUV Festival and all the Homework Festival editions so far.
My first official release is "Tkanina", a concept ep released in march 2006 by
Persistencebit Rec., followed by "No more words", a 3-tracks ep on
Homework Records, an Italian netlabel of which I'm one of the founders.
The two compilations "Lavori Domestici vol.1" and "Lavori Domestici vol.2" published by the Bologna-based Homework Records also feature some of my latest tracks.
